Artist Marketing Materials
It's important for artists to have a website where they can showcase their work, becuase an interested collector may want another piece or if a piece is admired at a collector's home then they can send the admirer to your website to look at pieces they might buy themselves. Or if your work is in a show admirers can go to your website to purchase your work.
A gallery that might be considering your work would also benefit from visting your website, as a way to show off your portfolio.
In addition to a website, an artist should also have business cards so that whenever you meet anyone who might be a customer they will be able to contact you easily.
Sterling Advertising can create a website and business cards for you. There are a few things that you need to consider when you choose your website:
- How many categories of art do you have (i.e. sculpture, oils, watercolors, etc.)?
- Do you want to sell your art online or simply showcase it?
- Do you have quality photographs of your artwork?
- How are you going to deliver your artwork?
